Community Service at Johor

A request that I put some photos on this blog on Community Service done..

In June, our NGO association, Alumni Asrama Felda Malaysia (AAFM) had done community outreach program at Bandar Tenggara, Johor. We had done similar program late last year (2008) in Bandar Pusat Jengka, Pahang followed by another follow-up program in early May 2009 at UiTM Jengka.

It was a three days two nights (3D2N) program providing motivational talks and sessions for some 400 students consists of candidates for SPM, PMR and UPSR (for UPSR, it was done in a seperate session - only one day program).

We had also provided additional community service such as motivational talks for parents, discussion with heads of community/villages (listening to social & educational problems faced by the community), giving free medical checkups as well as distributing some free medicines to people who need it (this service is provided by JSH).

The SPM and PMR students stayed overnight at the School Hostels for 2 nights during the program. Several motivational sessions inclusive of religous sessions (qiamullai, kuliah subuh) were carried at Masjid while the other sessions were carried out at School Hall.

For other related sessions for parents and other people in the community , the sessions were acrried at several public places - such as community hall, school meeting room, etc.

We had many volunteers of professionals and non-profesionals from all over Malaysia providing helps for management of the program, giving motivational talks, handling breakout sessions, etc. to make sure the program run smoothly, safely, and successfully.

The event was offically closed on Sunday (3rd / last Day) by Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor, the Chairman of Felda.

The program was very successful and get many appreciations by parents, head of community / villages, and ADUN kawasan Bandar Tenggara.

Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Yusof Noor in his speech had expressed huge congratulations and great appreciations to AAFM for excellent work on carrying out this program.

He would like to see this type of voluntary program and community service to continue and suggested that AAFM do the same next year for Terengganu community.

Importance of Scientific English

1) Decision made on the PPMSI, and the decision is Final, we have to accept it as the decision will not be reversed, irregardless whatever we had earlier thought and believed what should be done.

2) Personally, I did not agree that we go back to Bahasa and think we should stay in using English, but when the decision made to reverse to Bahasa, it may have good & strong justififcation to do it..

3) Being one of Malaysians who strongly believe that We Malaysians are actually world class capable and can compete with people from other developed countries in many areas, it is critical that We know well not just English Speaking Language itself but also other special English terms used related to science, technology, economics, mathematics, etc. It is critical so that we understand well and therefore be able to speak same scientific and technological language with them..

4) With the elimination of PPMSI, I think we are actually going backward. So all related people - students and others - should double or even triple up their efforts to learn and re-learn and master, again, not just English Speaking Language, but also scientific & technological & mathematics & Economics English Language, as well.

5) We, Malaysians, need to do something else, extra efforts to catch up in the above, and we need to do it now. Or else we will be lagging, and later, if nothing being done, we will not achieve our vision to become developed nation.

6) Worse, we will stay long as developing or even lagging to poor country, eventhough we have highly capable and world class citizens in this country.

Friendship Day

1) Wish all Happy Friendship Day...

2) A true friend is someone who will be there for you, standing & sitting beside you, comforting you, during the time you really hope for a support from him/her, eventhough he/she should have been somewhere else which is more enjoyable and fun for himself/herself..

3) Be honest in friendship, Be a best friend to someone and in return You will get a best friend for you yourself... Someone who will always provide you good support everytime you need it..

4) It is not easy to get one but it is not impossible, especially if you yourself become one of those and really honest in it..

Forget the Political Differences - Have Round the Table Discussion - Do It for the Benefits and Pride of Malaysia

1) Reading and listening to many news and newspapers and many talks about PAS and UMNO debate, I am really tempted to provide my views / comments...

2) My views/comments are looked at from and for the benefits of Islam, Malays and our lovely Country Malaysia...

3) I see an open and live debate would provide negative impact which will result in bigger splits among malays and islamic people. This is not a good practice in our culture... People especially who are not honest would possibly use the platform to say many and more bad things about the other, point fingures at the other, blame the other party of doing wrong things and cause the "bad situation" in Malaysia, etc... etc.. and many more negative things -- They would do these for their own self benefits, to become more famous and get more people's supports for them, etc...

4) And.. There will then be more pointing fingures and blaming among both parties and continue even after the debate and into greater community of different supporters --- causing greater splits among Malays..

5) The best approach is for two parties to sit down in a close round-the-table discussion (maybe with limited coverage) and have an open honest discussion... A set agenda should be lined out to discuss current and big issues which the Malays, Islam and Country is facing --- probably few main issues --- and discuss the issues openly.. Each side / party should openly and honestly provide their thoughts and views and comments and suggestions and recommendations on what should be done to tackle each of the issue with justifications and reasons why they think it should be done in certain way..

6) Each party should be open to listen and to comment on the thoughts, views and suggestions, and provide their thoughts and justifications

7) After listening to all thoughts and views, a positive and proactive approach should be agreed on what/when/how to do to tackle and solve those issues --- after all justifications/reasons given/listened/discussed and openly and honestly agreed among all parties..

8) These discussion and agreed approaches on tackling and resolving the issues are possibly being taken within different political parties and are done for benefits of Malays, Islam and the Country, and not necessary be within the same united Parties..

9) The objectives must be set right in the beginning with both parties put a side the potical differences --- is done for the benefits of Islam, Malays and the Country NOT for the ownself...

10) A good independent mediator should chair the discussion.

11) I request all parties to work for the best of the Country, badly needed especially during this difficult time, forgetting political differences, setting aside the ownself benefit / ownself pride --- do it for the PRIDE of our own MALAYSIA

Until We Meet Again

Salam Sejahtera and Top of Day to all...

Today is my last day at BPCM... I want to say Until We Meet Again to all of you...
I had been with BPCM/ACM for more than 15 years -- 15th year anniversary with BPCM/ACM on 04/04/09...

To all.... Each and everyone of you have been good people and good friend of mine since joining BPCM/ACM. All of you have thought me a lot of the meaning of Life, Working & Friendship... I had reallly learned a lot from you all. Thank you for everything, thanks for all the guidances given, thanks for the many sharings of ideas, many proactive discussions and comments, many many things you all have given and taught me... And all these have helped me to become who I am today... Thanks for all of those and again, the most important thing is THANK YOU for being my friend for the last 15 years... Personally, I am touched leaving all of you my good friend but life must go on..

Come and Go... That is the fact of Life, and now I am gone from BP... But I think Friendship should continue, and if it is happened that we bump into each other out there, and if you do not feel embarrased making friend with me, do say Hi, say Hello or say something... I will do... Though I realize that we are in different situation now, so I will understand and accept whatever circurstances might happen.
Please forgive me for all my wrongdoings, and please do not take it personally into your heart all of those.

What next... Honesty, I have not firmed up my plan yet... I have been doing a lot of charity works in last few months and will continue to do it - Even though I have been doing it for free but I have really enjoyed what I have done so far... Even I had spent money from my own pocket paying for lodging, food and travelling, I felt really satisfied... I will continue my charity service periodically in this type while doing my future undertakings, maybe something similar and in line with what I am doing now since I really enjoy this... But again, I have not really firmed up my plan yet....

Lastly, all the best to all.. And my last personal advise to you all my dear friends --- While working smart, do enjoy your life... Please, do spent time with people who you love... They are actually your true future who will continue to provide you all the supports and encouragements at all times even when you become someone else which are different than who you are today...

Aku Lebih Kenal Kemampuanku Untuk Berjaya

Pada 5 & 6 May 2009, saya telah menghadiri satu Seminar Usahawan.
Di samping mempelajari kerjaya usahawan, seminar ini amat baik bagi saya, membukakan lagi minda saya dan mengenalkan potensi diri sendiri. Ia terus memberikan keyakinan kepada saya yang saya boleh lebih berjaya dalam hidup ini.
Kawan2 banyak berköngsi pengalaman dan memberi panduan dan semangat dan pengajaran untuk terus berjaya dengan cemerlang.

04-April-2009, genaplah 15 Tahun saya berkhidmat di Syarikat ini dan saya akan meninggalkan Syarikat ini sebelum akhir May 2009 melalui Skim Penamatan/Perpisahan Sukarela.

15 tahun adalah suatu masa yang panjang tapi 15 tahun juga adalah satu jangkamasa yang singkat bila mengenangkan persahabatan yang telah saya bina bersama anda semua kawan-kawan saya...

Secara peribadi, saya sedih untuk meninggalkan Syarikat ini yang banyak memberikan kenangan pada saya.. Bagi saya, jasa anda semua terlalu berharga, setiap individu di Syarikat ini, yang banyak menolong saya, mengajar saya, menegur saya, memimpin saya, memberi tunjuk ajar kepada saya, memberikan idea, membuka minda, membuatkan saya berfikir, dan seterusnya membantu diri saya menjadi insan seperti ini... Jasa anda semua akan saya kenang dan saya ucapkan berbanyak-banyak terima kasih kerana tidak jemu-jemu untuk berkawan, memberi teguran & tunjuk ajar dan melayani kerenah saya...

Di kesempatan ini, saya ingin memohon banyak-banyak maaf dari apa jua kesalahan yang mungkin telah saya lakukan, keterlanjuran kata, gurau & senda, dan mungkin melukai hati & perasaan anda semua, secara sengaja atau tidak sengaja. Maafkan saya insan yang lemah ini... Maaf juga saya pohon atas apa-apa saja kritikan dan komen saya yang mungkin tidak mudah diterima oleh sesetengah kawan-kawan. Saya sendiri tidak pernah menyimpan apa-apa dendam atau perasaan tidak baik terhadap sesiapa saja keluarga Syarikat ini ... Setiap apa yang tidak baik yang berlaku atau yang telah kita lalui, saya hanya menganggapkan ia hanya sebagai lumrah hidup persahabatan dan dalam pekerjaan yang kadang-kadang ada selisih faham dan prasangka kurang baik -- lagikan lidah boleh tergigit, inikan pula kita sesama manusia -- semua apa-apapun saya tidak menyimpannya dalam diri ini. Sebaliknya, setiap apa yang berlaku saya ambil ia sebagai positif dan ianya menjadi tunjuk ajar dan pengajaran berharga untuk hidup saya seterusnya...

Ramai kawan-kawan bertanya... Apakah rancangan saya selepas ini... Saya tidak dapat menjawab soalan ini buat masa ini... Ada beberapa perancangan -- Business, Bekerja kembali, Menulis, Mengajar / Lecturer / Motivator, dan lain2 - - - tapi saya belum putuskan lagi yang mana terbaik -- semuanya bergantung kepada keadaan semasa... InsyaALLAH kemungkinan besar saya masih kekal di Kuantan sebagai tempat kediaman kekal saya, walaupun mungkin perlu bergerak ke beberapa tempat buat seketika sebelum bertapak baik dan kekal...

Saya sentiasa percaya, setiap insan di dunia ini ada kelebihan & kekuatan sendiri... Kita hanya perlu tahu apa kekuatan yang kita ada, dan seterusnya menggunakan kekuatan diri untuk bekerja & berusaha dengan lebih kuat dan gigih untuk mendapat kejayaan cemerlang dalam apa juga perkara yang kita usahakan... Kita perlu ikhlas dengan diri kita sendiri mengakui dan memperbaiki kelemahan yang ada, merubah diri untuk kebaikan dan InsyaALLAH, kita akan terus dapat lebih maju dalam hidup ini... Saya sentiasa mengingatkan diri saya, kita lakukan semua ini untuk kebaikan diri, keluarga dan orang-orang yang kita sayangi...

Saya percaya, setiap perkara yang dimulai dengan Bismillah dan doa, setiap niat yang murni, setiap kerja yang dilakukan dengan jujur & penuh ikhlas dan bersungguh-sungguh, setiap usaha yang dibuat dengan baik dan tekun agar mendapat keputusan yang terbaik, dan seterusnya berserah kepada Tuhan dengan Doa & Tawakkal -- InsyaALLAH akan mendapat berkat, diberikan nikmat dan rezeki yang berkekalan oleh ALLAH, dan seterusnya rezeki yang diberkati, halal dan berkekalan untuk kita, keluarga dan semua orang-orang yang kita sayangi... INSYAALLAH...

Saya sebenarnya amat bersyukur dengan apa yang berlaku dan yang saya dapat ketika ini... Saya sentiasa percaya ----- Permulaan setiap perkara yang Hak itu ialah Kesukaran atau perkara yang tidak disukai... Dan Kemuncaknya adalah Kejayaan ---- Tuhan telah memberikan saya cabaran untuk hidup saya ketika ini, dan kesukaran ini yang sebenarnya amat kecil jika dibandingkan dengan banyak lagi perkara, saya anggap ianya hanya dugaan sementara dari ALLAH dan adalah satu jalan baru dan detik permulaan untuk saya mencapai Kejayaan yang lebih Hak untuk saya demi keluarga dan orang -orang yang saya sayangi. Saya hanya perlu tempuhi dugaan ini dengan penuh tabah dan berusaha lebih gigih dan berserah kepadaNYA setelah sedaya usaha saya lakukan..

Kalau andainya bertemu, bila-bila masa sahaja di luar sana di mana sahaja, jika sudi dan tidak jijik, tegurlah saya, saya sentiasa menganggap anda semua adalah rakan saya... Prinsip hidup saya, semua manusia adalah kawan saya, tidak kira siapa saja, apa saja pangkat – mereka semua bagi saya adalah mempunyai kelebihan sendiri sebagai kawan --- dan saya tidak pernah malu berkawan dengan sesiapa saja dan juga belajar dari mereka apa-apa yang baik yang boleh saya pelajari untuk membantu memajukan diri saya sendiri dalam apa segi sekalipun --- Agama, Duniawi, Ilmu & Intelektual, Minda yang Baik, Fisikal yang baik, dan sebagainya...

Saya mengambil kesempatan ini sekali lagi untuk mengucapkan Selamat Tinggal kawan-kawan... Selamat Maju Jaya kepada anda semua... Pohon Maaf segala kesalahan saya...
